After a huge victory over Miami on Saturday night, here are 5 predictions for the UNC football program’s upcoming contest against Virginia.

Things have gone extremely well for Mack Brown and the UNC football program, as they are sitting at 6-0 coming off a huge ACC (and top-25) victory over then-ranked Miami.

Of course, anything can happen on any given Saturday, as the now-ranked No. 10 Tar Heels must focus on the task at hand: defeating the team that’s next on their schedule.

Their next opponent won’t “wow” you, but it’s one of those games that could potentially be a “trap game.”

Virginia comes in with a 1-5 record. The Cavaliers are coming off their lone win of the season, as they defeated William & Mary on Saturday afternoon. Even though they haven’t been able to stack multiple wins up to this point, Tony Elliot’s squad seems to compete, as three of its losses have been by three points or less.

Make no mistake: this game is extremely important for the UNC football program. In order to continue pushing towards their ultimate goals, taking care of business on the field has to be at the forefront. It could be easy to overlook Virginia in this one, but make no mistake: the Cavaliers would LOVE to play “spoilers” in the South’s Oldest Rivalry contest.

Ahead of the UNC football program’s contest against Virginia, here are five predictions of what to expect in this game.
