Heading into the UNC football program’s top-25 battle with Miami, the College GameDay crew seem confident with their picks.

Once again, the ESPN College GameDay crew made predictions on the UNC football program’s scheduled contest.

Last week, the crew unanimously selected the Tar Heels to defeat Syracuse. This week, the crew believes the UNC football program will take care of business once again as they host the Miami Hurricanes in a top-25 battle.

Kirk Herbstreit said this is the type of game that North Carolina has lost in the past , over and over, but believes that Mack Brown will have everyone on high alert given the attention Miami has received over the last week following their loss to Georgia Tech.

Desmond Howard believes it will be a close one, as he chose the Tar Heels to win by three points.

The panel discussed the UNC football program in further detail, stating how this group has matured since last season. The defensive improvements also helped the panel favor the Tar Heels, and the presence of star quarterback Drake Maye is another obvious reason why so many people have faith in the UNC football program.

We’ll have to wait and see if the panel is right once again as the Tar Heels prepare for a huge ACC conference battle with Miami. The Tar Heels are hopeful that they can continue building on their best start since the 1997 season.
