No. 5: The Tez Walker Show

Tez Walker made his highly-anticipated UNC football debut on Saturday, as he hauled in six passes for 43 yards.

Of course, the Tar Heels had plenty of receivers get work, as Drake Maye connected with 11 different receivers.

Heading into his second game as a Tar Heel, Walker is set for a huge performance.

Let’s look back at Nate McCollum. Yes, McCollum was still injured, which factored into his low workload in his Tar Heel debut. The following week, however, was his first 100-yard performance for the UNC football program, as Tez Walker could easily follow that same path.

There’s not much film for Miami to work with in regard to Walker’s return, which could favor the Tar Heels in a huge way. Expect Maye to look for Walker early and often, as he could have a performance in store where he surpasses 100+ yards and finds the end zone for the first time in a North Carolina uniform.
