No. 3: Beat them at their own strength

Miami’s run defense, as mentioned on the previous slide, has been one of the best in the entire country.

This week, the UNC football program’s running game, spearheaded by Omarion Hampton, will do something that none of the Hurricanes’ opponents have done prior.

Miami has yet to allow an opponent to rush for 100+ yards in a game, as two opponents came very close while the other three were well off. Fortunately, the Tar Heels have some pretty good options to run the football, including quarterback Drake Maye, as North Carolina has the potential to put together a strong day on the ground.

With the projected weather, the run game will be even more important, as both teams will look to get strong production from their running backs. The battle up-front will be huge, as the Tar Heels offensive line will pave the way for the Tar Heels running game to succeed.

Don’t be surprised if the UNC football program rushes for over 120 yards in this one.
