Just a few days after agreeing to a contract buyout with the San Antonio Spurs, the former UNC basketball standout has found a new home.

On September 30, the San Antonio Spurs and former UNC basketball standout Reggie Bullock agreed to a contract buyout.

Three days later, Bullock found himself a new home.

Shams Charania reported that Bullock plans to sign with the Houston Rockets. The deal is expected to be agreed upon shortly after the former Tar Heel clears waivers.

It was expected that Bullock would have plenty of interest, given his ability to be a reliable 3&D wing. Several teams expressed interest in the former UNC basketball standout, but he elected to sign with the Rockets, a team that is looking to rebuild its roster.

Last season, the former Tar Heel averaged 7.2 points over 78 games for the Mavericks. He shot 38% from three-point range, as his veteran presence should be an asset for the Rockets organization.

Of course, Bullock could end up being a trade chip at some point this season, but for now, he’ll look to lead a young Rockets squad that went 22-60 a season ago.
