The former UNC basketball standout is set to be on the move once again in what has been an interesting offseason heading into his 11th NBA season.

Just when we thought Reggie Bullock might have found a home heading into the upcoming NBA season…

On June 28, the Dallas Mavericks guaranteed the final year of the former UNC basketball standout’s contract. The deal was set to earn Bullock just under $10.5 million for the 2023-2024 season.

A few weeks later, Bullock was dealt to the San Antonio Spurs as part of a three-team trade, headlined by Grant Williams being traded from the Boston Celtics to Dallas.

As the Spurs are in a rebuilding mode, Bullock wasn’t expected to be with the franchise long. However, as training camp drew closer, it looked like he may be a member of the Spurs, at least at the start of the season.

However, that changed quickly, as the Spurs and Bullock agreed to a contract buyout.

With the buyout, Bullock will hit the free agent market, as he should be pursued by several teams with title aspirations. He’ll have the option to pick the best fit for him as he heads into his 11th season in the NBA.

Last season, the former Tar Heel averaged 7.2 points over 78 games for the Mavericks. He shot 38% from three-point range, as he still has the ability to be an above-average shooter and defender.

Now, we wait and see where Bullock’s next stop will take him, as it’s possible he’ll suit up for a seventh different NBA franchise this coming season.
