Alijah Huzzie

Based on his first four games as a member of the UNC football program, you could easily make a case that Alijah Huzzie was one of, if not the, best transfer portal additions made by any college football team over the last year.

Huzzie came in and has made an immediate impact with the Tar Heels, as Gene Chizik and company have utilized him all over the field. Rotating to play in various spots among the team’s secondary, Huzzie has done whatever the team has asked him to do and continues to make winning plays.

Let’s not forget the impact he’s made on the special teams unit!

Huzzie’s best overall game was his latest, a two-interception performance against Pittsburgh to kick off conference play. Along with his two picks, Huzzie also returned a punt for a touchdown and returned another which put the Tar Heels offense in great field position.

He may not have been the biggest name when he transferred to the UNC football program, but Alijah Huzzie continues to make a name for himself in Chapel Hill as a member of the Tar Heels.
