UNC Basketball: FIRST LOOK at Leaky Black in a Hornets uniform
Fans of the UNC basketball program, get ready for your first official look at Leaky Black wearing his new Charlotte Hornets uniform.
As he prepares for his first season of professional basketball, we now know what number former UNC basketball standout Leaky Black will be wearing.

Although it’s not the traditional No. 1 we saw him wear at North Carolina for five seasons, Black will be wearing No. 12 with his new squad, which isn’t too far away from his old stomping grounds in Chapel Hill.

After competing in the NBA Summer League as an undrafted free agent, Black agreed to a two-way deal with the Charlotte Hornets franchise. He’ll look to make the most of his opportunity, as his deal allows him to play for both the NBA squad as well as the team’s G-League affiliate throughout the season.
