J.Cole

Jermaine Cole, also known as J. Cole, was born on a military base in Germany but was raised in Fayetteville, North Carolina, just about an hour and a half away from Chapel Hill.

The rapper is one of the best in the game, being known for his albums “Cole World”, “Born Sinner”, “2014 Forest Hills Drive,” and “KOD”. But when the rapper isn’t on tour or in the studio, he’s likely watching a UNC basketball game.

J.Cole has been spotted at the Dean Dome a few times over the years taking in a Tar Heels game and supporting them along the way. He’s posed in different UNC basketball jerseys and isn’t scared to show off his fandom for the Tar Heels.

He even is pretty good on the basketball court as well and has shown off his skills before:

Cole made a special appearance at the UNC basketball program’s Media Day back in 2019, as he spent some time with the players on the squad.

Not only was this a cool experience for the players but it was just as special of a moment for Cole, who got to be around his favorite team while soaking up the environment at the Dean Smith Center.
