The UNC basketball star big man has been mentioned in a rap song that was just released by artist Brezden, the newest 1017 label artist.

Fans of the UNC basketball program can tell you that Armando Bacot is a cool dude.

Over his time (thus far) in Chapel Hill, Bacot has earned a reputation as one of the best big men to ever wear the Carolina Blue. With one season of eligibility remaining, Bacot hopes to lead the Tar Heels back to the national championship game, this time coming out on top.

It’s no secret that Bacot has benefitted tremendously from the new NIL rules that the NCAA has put into place. These rules have opened the door for Bacot, and many other student-athletes, to profit off their name, image & likeness.

Although this latest Bacot news isn’t NIL-related, it’s pretty cool to hear that he’s been referenced in a new song that was recently released.

Popular artist Gucci Mane recently signed rapper Brezden to the 1017 label, as the artist dropped a track called “White Ferrari.” Although the lyrics aren’t necessarily kid-friendly, the latest addition to the 1017 label makes a reference to the UNC basketball star.

Based on the fact that Bacot follows Brezden on social media, it’s possible that the two have interacted before, as it seems that they are mutual fans of each other’s work.
