Hubert Davis and the UNC basketball program have officially released their non-conference schedule for the 2023-2024 season.

The wait is FINALLY over!

We got some information regarding the UNC basketball program’s 2023-2024 non-conference slate but awaited the entire schedule to drop.

Now, we know who the Tar Heels will be competing against early on in the upcoming season.

Here’s what the UNC basketball program’s non-conference schedule looks like:

October 27- St. Augustine’s (Exhibition)*

November 6 – Radford*

November 12- Lehigh*

November 17 – UC Riverside*

Battle 4 Atlantis (The Bahamas)

November 22 vs Northern Iowa

November 23 vs Villanova/Texas Tech

November 24 vs TBD

ACC/SEC Challenge

November 29 vs Tennessee *

Jimmy V Classic (Madison Square Garden- New York)

December 5- vs. UConn

CBS Sports Classic (Atlanta)

December 16 vs. Kentucky (Atlanta)

Jumpman Invitational (Charlotte)

December 20 vs. Oklahoma

December 29- Charleston Southern*

*- Denotes home games

Needless to say, the Tar Heels will certainly be tested over the first few months of the 2023-2024 season. It’s possible that North Carolina will face as many as five teams that are ranked in ESPN’s Way-Too-Early Top 25 in its non-conference portion of the schedule.

With a new-look roster, including incoming freshman Elliot Cadeau and some notable transfers such as Harrison Ingram, Cormac Ryan, and Jae’Lyn Withers, this group will look to use these games to not only build up their NCAA Tournament resume but prepare for the tough ACC schedule that they’ll face in the second half of the season.
