Courtney Banghart and the UNC women’s basketball program have extended an offer to a top-20 prospect from the Class of 2026.

Even though it seems like a far way off, the year 2026 will be here before ya know it.

No, we’re not trying to rush time here, but for college athletic programs, the focus is typically on the future.

Courtney Banghart and the UNC women’s basketball program are no exception, as they’ve extended an offer to a top-20 prospect from the Class of 2026.

On her Twitter account, Isabella Ragone announced that she has received an offer from North Carolina. Ragone, a 6-foot-2 wing from Hoschton, Georgia, currently is a four-star prospect and is ranked No. 20 overall in her class in the latest HoopGurlz rankings.

The offers have been rolling in for Ragone, as the likes of Harvard, Baylor, Texas Tech, Louisville, Florida State, Northwestern, TCU, Auburn, Villanova, and Illinois have extended an offer over the last few weeks. It’s safe to say that more will be on the way in the near future.

Ragone is a talented prospect who would be a big-time addition for the UNC women’s basketball program. Based on Banghart’s recruiting success since arriving in Chapel Hill, the Tar Heels have built a culture that has kept them very much in the mix for some of the nation’s top talents.
