The UNC women’s basketball Class of 2024 commit finished off her AAU career in grand style, as she showed off her offensive skillset.

Four-star recruit Jordan Zubich was the first player in the Class of 2024 to commit to Courtney Banghart and the UNC women’s basketball program.

Currently ranked as the No. 65 player in her graduating class (according to HoopGurlz), Zubich has certainly made a case to move up the rankings over the last couple of weeks.

In her last AAU tournament ever, Zubich was simply outstanding. The future Tar Heel showed off her offensive skillset, knocking down 21 of her 35 total shot attempts.

All of her damage came from beyond the arc, as all 21 of her made baskets were three-pointers, resulting in a 66% mark from deep.

It’s been known that Zubich is a very talented basketball player, but her most recent outings are definitely putting the country on notice. Programs across the country look for players that can impact the game on both sides of the floor, as Zubich isn’t just an elite shooter, but also has shown the ability to be a strong defensive player as well.

Banghart and her staff have done a tremendous job on the recruiting trail, as Zubich is yet another talented prospect making her way to Chapel Hill. After bringing in a highly-touted 2023 recruiting class, which features five student-athletes, the UNC women’s basketball program isn’t slowing down, as they currently have two Class of 2024 standouts set to join the program next season.

The Tar Heels may not be done adding to this recruiting class, but if they are, the two-player class, one that includes the arrival of Zubich, should be exciting to watch once they arrive on campus.
