One of the rising prospects in the Class of 2025 is very fond of the UNC basketball program, as he hopes to hear from them in his recruitment.

Niko Bundalo has been one of the highest-rising prospects in the Class of 2025 over the last few months.

The 6-foot-9 forward from Hudson, Ohio has had a breakout summer, as he’s hauled in nearly 15 offers since April while competing with the Wildcats Select program on the Adidas 3SSB 16u Circuit.

As he’s earned plenty of interest from the likes of Michigan State, Iowa, Illinois, and Xavier (to name a few) Bundalo recently told Jamie Shaw of On3 that he’s waiting to hear from his “dream school,” the UNC basketball program.

"“An offer I really want is UNC. I grew up a fan of them and haven’t gotten the opportunity to talk with the coaches there yet.”My mom is from Chicago. She grew up watching Michael Jordan when she came over to the United States. So watching Michael Jordan and all of the documentaries and his old highlights, UNC just kept coming up. So she started liking UNC, and so did I, and they were the school I kept watching through my whole childhood.”"

The No. 25 player in the Class of 2025 (according to 247Sports Composite) stated that he grew up a fan of the UNC basketball program, thanks in large part to his mother who watched Michael Jordan while growing up in the Chicago area. Although North Carolina was deemed his “dream school” Bundalo stated that he hasn’t heard from the Tar Heels, but hopes that changes in the near future.
