One of the top prospects in the Class of 2025 seems to be very intrigued by “The Carolina Way,’ and the brand of the UNC basketball program.

‘The Carolina Way’ isn’t for everyone, as there’s a lot that comes along with being a member of the UNC basketball program.

From the legendary history to the immense amount of pressure to succeed in Chapel Hill, some high school standouts may not be up to the challenge of what is expected both on and off the court at North Carolina.

For five-star Class of 2025 forward Caleb Wilson, ‘The Carolina Way’ is one that is very appealing to him.

While discussing his recruitment with On 3’s Jamie Shaw, Wilson discussed the UNC basketball program in further detail. As he expects to make an official visit to Chapel Hill, here’s what the 6-foot-9 forward had to say regarding the Tar Heels:

"“They had Michael Jordan; he went there. I love the brand. I like the coach too. Coach Hubert (Davis) and I have had good conversations so far. We talk a lot about the things that they do there, ‘The Carolina Way,’ both on and off the court, and that is appealing to me. He tells me he likes my play style.”"

Heading into his junior year of high school, Wilson doesn’t have a timetable set for when he plans on committing. In fact, he figures that he’ll begin taking official visits in the fall, as a trip to Chapel Hill could come over the next couple of months.

As he aspires to play for a big-brand college program, not many programs can match what the UNC basketball program has to offer. Although there are plenty of big-time programs in the mix, ‘The Carolina Way’ could help guide this top-tier prospect to Chapel Hill in the future.
