Heading into his junior season, UNC football standout Bryson Nesbit is earning plenty of attention as a potential NFL Draft pick.

The UNC football program’s offense draws plenty of attention, thanks in large part to star quarterback Drake Maye.

However, let’s not forget that the Tar Heels have plenty of very talented skill players over the last few years, some of which went on to compete on Sundays in the NFL.

With the UNC football program once again losing two top receivers, the offense will look a bit different than it did a year ago. Although there will be new faces, one familiar face should continue to build off a strong sophomore season.

Tight end Bryson Nesbit put together a season in which he hauled in 35 passes for 507 yards and four touchdowns. This was a major jump from his freshman season, as it’s anticipated that he’ll be even more of a factor offensively in 2023.

With this in mind, Connor Rogers of NBC Sports ranked Nesbit among his top five 2024 NFL Draft eligible tight ends.

Nesbit comes in at No. 4 on the list, as he’s the only ACC tight end mentioned among the top five. With a strong junior season, Nesbit can continue to jump up the rankings, as it’s very possible that he could be one of the top tight ends selected in next year’s NFL Draft.

Tight ends are an important part of an offensive system, as they play a major part in both the run and passing game. The UNC football program is fortunate to have one of the best in the country, as Bryson Nesbit is an offensive game-changer in Chapel Hill.
