One of the top prospects in the Class of 2025 may be making a visit to the UNC basketball as part of his future college tour.

Hubert Davis and the UNC basketball program officially jumped into the mix for five-star forward Caleb Wilson when they extended an offer to him back on May 5.

Even though the Class of 2025 star is only at the start of his recruitment process, it isn’t too early for him to start mapping out which schools he’d like to visit eventually.

When asked if he was planning any visits at this point, here’s what the Atlanta, Georgia native told Hitmen Hoops Scouting:

"“I believe I will visit Tennessee, Alabama, UNC and Georgia Tech, it’s not 100% at the moment though.”"

Although it isn’t set in stone, North Carolina was listed among the four programs that he expects to make a visit to. Of course, things can change over the next few months, but it’s good to see that the UNC basketball program appears to be firmly in the mix for 247Sports Composite’s No. 5 ranked player in the 2025 class.

Davis and his staff can still add to its already impressive 2024 class, but it seems like the priority will begin to shift toward the 2025 group. Based on recent recruiting success, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see the Tar Heels being among the heavy favorites for some of the best prospects that this talented graduating class has to offer.
