UNC Football lands commitment from Keenan Jackson
Mack Brown and the UNC football program were able to keep another in-state product home as Keenan Jackson commits to North Carolina.
Adding talent to the 2024 recruiting class is becoming a habit for Mack Brown and the UNC football program.
The latest commitment comes from Keenan Jackson, a three-star wide receiver from Matthews, North Carolina. Jackson is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 26 overall player from the state of North Carolina.
After announcing his top 6, a list that included the likes of fellow ACC schools Duke, NC State, and Virginia Tech, Jackson took visits to see his finalists up close. North Carolina was his last stop on June 23, as Mack Brown and company made the most of being the last campus he visited.
With Jackson’s commitment, the UNC football program now has 21 hard commits in the Class of 2024. The Tar Heels have the No. 16-ranked recruiting class at this point (as per 247Sports), but that could change in the near future as some notable UNC football targets are set to announce their decisions in the coming days.
This is a big recruiting win for North Carolina, as they keep a top in-state talent at home while keeping him from joining forces with rival ACC programs. Based on how the recruiting trail as gone lately, Mack Brown and the UNC football program are far from done.
