UNC Football Recruiting offers son of former NFL standout
Mack Brown and the UNC Football Recruiting team have extended an offer to a standout Class of 2026 prospect with a very familiar name.
If you follow professional sports in the North Carolina area, you’ve most likely heard of the name Thomas Davis.
Davis was a long-time linebacker in the NFL, as 13 of his 15 professional seasons were spent with the Carolina Panthers organization. His career has come to an end, but his son’s is just on the start of something special.
Mack Brown and the UNC Football Recruiting team have extended an offer to Thomas Davis Jr., a Class of 2026 prospect. Davis, like his father, is a linebacker prospect who is currently playing football for Weddington High School in his hometown Matthews, North Carolina.
The 6-foot-2, 195-pound linebacker’s recruitment has started to pick up a bit as he heads into his sophomore season. At this point, Davis Jr. has seven offers to his name, including the likes of Boston College, Duke, UConn, and Virginia Tech.
With a lot of time left in his high school career, expect to hear a lot more about Thomas Davis Jr. over the next few years.
When his name is brought up, don’t be surprised to see the UNC football recruiting team mentioned as one of the programs heavily recruiting him.
