UNC Basketball: Cole Anthony has high praise for Elliot Cadeau
The former UNC basketball standout had some high praise for incoming freshman Elliot Cadeau after competing against him this past week in Chapel Hill.
This past week, numerous UNC basketball alums were on campus to not only spend time with the current team but to compete against them as well.
Current NBA guard Cole Anthony was among the participants, as he had time to work with some of the Tar Heels’ young guards. Incoming freshman Elliot Cadeau was one of the players that Anthony worked closely with, as he had high praise for what he saw from the Tar Heels’ new point guard:
"“Elliot reminds me of myself when I was coming to Carolina. He just wants to move at 100 miles per hour. He is super, super skilled. He’s got all the skill in the world, but everything is just super, super fast. He’s like Sonic the Hedgehog. He’s super fast. He’s the fastest on the court, but he doesn’t need to show it at all times. He can play at different speeds and break the game down in a way where he might be even harder to guard.”"
Anthony compared Cadeau to himself, as he noted how fast the incoming freshman is on the basketball court. Based on the few days that Anthony has spent with him, it didn’t take long for the current Orlando Magic guard to realize that the UNC basketball program has a special talent in Elliot Cadeau.
