UNC basketball top scorer No. 6: Charlie Scott (1967-1970)

  • Career Points: 2007
  • Points Per-Game: 22.1

Scott did what others on the list couldn’t: join the 2,000 career point scorers club in just three seasons.

Larry Miller essentially passed the torch to Scott, who went on to be another dominant scorer in UNC basketball history. His senior season could be considered among the best single-season individual performances ever, as he went on to average a staggering 27.1 points and 8.6 rebounds per game.
