Here’s your first official look at the UNC basketball program’s incoming freshman, as Elliot Cadeau and Zayden High have made their way to Chapel Hill.

The anticipation is officially over.

Elliot Cadeau and Zayden High have arrived!

After arriving in Chapel Hill a few days ago, the freshman duo are on the court working out for the UNC basketball program. The official North Carolina men’s basketball social media accounts shared photos of the two freshmen on Wednesday.

If Tar Heels fans weren’t already excited about the two additions, the post with pictures during their on-court workouts will certainly add to that.

The summer months are very important for college basketball teams, especially incoming freshmen. For Cadeau and High, they’ll have the opportunity to compete while transitioning to the college level prior to opening night this fall.

Although it’s only a class of two, Tar Heels fans should be excited about their arrival in Chapel Hill. Cadeau is expected to be a day-one starter, as his re-classification to the Class of 2023 helped fill the void left by Caleb Love’s departure.

Even though High isn’t projected to start right away, he’s a very talented big man who has the ability to stretch and run the floor effectively. He has the potential to be an impact player for the Tar Heels over his tenure with the program.

We’re still a few months away from the regular season, but having the freshmen arrive on campus makes the anticipation for the new season even higher.
