UNC Football program earns commitments from Law brothers
Mack Brown and the UNC football program have added two players from the same family, as Crews and Cade Law are heading to Chapel Hill.
The UNC football program has received a very nice package deal.
On Monday, three-star linebacker prospect Crews Law announced his commitment to the program. To add to his addition, his brother, Cade, has decided to join his brother in Chapel Hill.
Let’s start with Crews, a 6-foot-1, 218-pound linebacker in the Class of 2024. The younger Law brother currently ranks as the No. 28 overall player out of the state of Tennessee (according to 247Sports Composite).
His recruitment altered a bit once his brother Cade decided to enter the transfer portal. Originally a catcher for Vanderbilt’s baseball team, Cade decided to pursue other opportunities to get back on the football field. The duo became a package deal as Crews began to alter his recruitment to the schools interested in both of the Law brothers.
Crews had three official visits scheduled, with his most recent being to Chapel Hill. However, he did not finish his scheduled visit tour, as he quickly decided that he wanted to be a part of the UNC football program.
Shortly after Crews’ announcement, Cade made one of his own, as he’ll join the Tar Heels as a preferred walk-on.
With Crews’ commitment, the UNC football program has jumped into the top 10 of 247Sports Team Rankings for the Class of 2024.
This announcement fits perfectly with how the University of North Carolina operates, as the importance of family is something that will always be a focal point of the university as well as its athletic programs.
