It’s only fitting that UNC basketball legend Michael Jordan took part in the 2023 graduation ceremonies for the University of North Carolina.
This past weekend, the University of North Carolina celebrated its annual graduation ceremonies.
The Class of 2023 was honored and recognized for their hard work and dedication throughout their time in Chapel Hill.
Of course, the number 23 is legendary at North Carolina, as some even refer to this year as the “Jordan Year,” a tribute to UNC basketball legend and NBA Hall of Famer Michael Jordan.
It’s only right that Jordan was part of the “Jordan Class” graduation ceremony, as he sent a short video message to the graduates.

It was an awesome idea to have Jordan involved in the ceremony, as it’s certain that all of the graduating students at the University of North Carolina have heard plenty about him during their time in Chapel Hill.
As these graduates venture off to their next chapters in life, they can take the best wishes from the “G.O.A.T” himself as they look to have success in whatever path life has in store for them in the future.
Congratulations to the University of North Carolina graduating Class of 2023 (The “Jordan Year” Class).
