UNC Basketball: Harrison Ingram Transfer Crystal Ball Predictions

A few transfer crystal ball predictions were placed for Stanford wing Harrison Ingram. Were they placed in the UNC basketball program’s favor?

We’re now up to three Crystal Ball Predictions in favor of Harrison Ingram joining the UNC basketball program, as 247Sports Publisher Michael Swain has also flipped his original prediction from Kansas to North Carolina.

Where there’s smoke, there’s fire.

Over the past few days, it appeared as if Stanford transfer Harrison Ingram was trending towards joining the UNC basketball program. Not only did Ingram make an official visit to Chapel Hill, but also “rescheduled” one that he was supposed to make at Kansas.

Now, two new 247Sports Crystal Ball predictions have been made, both in favor of the Tar Heels.

Around 9:17 AM, Travis Branham placed the first prediction of the day, which was followed by Chad Lykins of The Devils Den approximately 40 minutes later. Lykins originally had Ingram heading to Kansas, but flipped his original prediction on Saturday morning.

Of course, nothing is set in stone, but the momentum seems to be swinging in North Carolina’s favor. Ingram has been considered one of the top transfer targets for Hubert Davis and the UNC basketball program, as his commitment would be a major addition to a new-look Tar Heels team heading into the 2023-2024 season.

For now, we wait, but it could be “Harrison Ingram watch” for fans of the UNC basketball program over the next couple of days.
