After a brief stint at Penn State, former UNC football cornerback Storm Duck is once again looking for a new home to finish his college career.

During the original transfer portal window, Storm Duck decided to leave the UNC football program to join the Penn State Nittany Lions.

Just a few months later, the former Tar Heel is back in the transfer portal looking for a new home.

With one season of college eligibility remaining, Duck has elected to re-enter the transfer portal. His lone appearance as a Nittany Lion came in the team’s blue-white game, as he finished the contest with a single tackle.

Penn State recruited the former second-team All-ACC selection heavily when he previously entered the transfer portal.  In 12 games last season, Duck recorded 46 tackles, three interceptions, and nine pass deflections along with a forced fumble.

His decision to leave Penn State could have been centered around potential playing time, as it’s possible that the former Tar Heel did not expect to see the time on the field that he anticipated when he first committed to the program. Regardless of his reason, Duck will hit the portal again in hopes of finding a better opportunity for himself to close out his collegiate career on a good note.
