As the UNC basketball program’s final home game approaches, Armando Bacot is not sure if it will be his last time playing at the Dean Smith Center.

On Thursday, Armando Bacot spoke to the media prior to the UNC basketball program’s regular-season finale against rival Duke.

Of course, one of the biggest questions surrounding this contest is whether or not it will be Bacot’s final home game as a Tar Heel. Bacot is a senior in his fourth year but has the potential to return due to earning a COVID year.

Although we’d all love to know what his plans are, Bacot emphasized that there isn’t a decision at this point.

Bacot told reporters that he hasn’t looked ahead too much, as no decision on his future has been made. As expected, the Richmond, Virginia native will likely sort through his options when the season ultimately concludes.

At this point in time, Bacot and the UNC basketball program are not only focused on their upcoming game against Duke but also looking to find their way into the tournament field for the upcoming NCAA Tournament.

The final result of this season could play a huge factor in Bacot’s decision. If the Tar Heels are able to able to finish their redemption tour, it’s possible that this could lead him to explore professional opportunities, but if they don’t, Bacot may have some unfinished business that he wishes to take care of.

Saturday may very well be the last time we see Bacot play at the Dean Smith Center, but there will be another day in the upcoming months for the star big man to decide what his future holds.
