As we celebrate ‘Jordan Day,’ take a look at some of the best social media posts on Twitter honoring the UNC basketball legend.

It’s February 3, 2023, or in numeric terms 2/3/23.

For sports fans around the world, today is ‘Jordan Day,’ honoring how the calendar reads Jordan’s historic No. 23 twice.

Before we look into the Jordan-related social media posts, it’s important to note that the UNC basketball program has two notable players who donned the No. 23.

Jordan isn’t the only No. 23 in Carolina history to knock down a championship-winning shot, as Charlotte Smith did so for the UNC women’s basketball program. Her jersey number, which is the same as Jordan’s, is also retired for her accomplishments during her time in Chapel Hill.

Of course, in honor of this day, social media has been posting plenty of Michael Jordan content. Here are some of the best tweets that UNC basketball fans need to see throughout the day.
