UNC Basketball legend “The President of the Seth Trimble Fan Club”

When asked about Seth Trimble, legendary UNC basketball guard Marcus Paige had some high praise for the true freshman guard. 

On Wednesday night, a special guest was at the Dean Smith Center, as legendary UNC basketball guard Marcus Paige was in attendance for the Tar Heels’ victory over Wake Forest.

As we all know, Paige had a historic career at North Carolina, as his 1,844 points in Carolina blue are just the beginning of his very long list of achievements.

During his time in Chapel Hill, Paige was teammates with J.P. Tokoto, brother of current Tar Heel Seth Trimble. When asked about Trimble, Paige had some very high praise for him.

After watching arguably Trimble’s best performance of his early UNC basketball career, Paige crowned himself as the “President of the Seth Trimble Fan Club.”

Of course, it’s one thing that Trimble has quickly developed into a fan-favorite in Chapel Hill, but to get someone like Marcus Paige to openly state that he’s one of your biggest fans, now THAT is rather impressive!

There’s a lot to like about Trimble’s game, and Paige certainly got a good look at a lot of those skills on Wednesday night. The freshman guard played a season-high 22 minutes while making all four of his shot attempts, finishing the night with 11 points and two rebounds to go along with two blocks.

Now that the club has an official leader, it’s certain that UNC basketball fans want to know how they go about joining the official Seth Trimble Fan Club, led by North Carolina legend Marcus Paige.
