UNC basketball standout Armando Bacot has added to his NIL endorsement deals, as he’s agreed to a partnership with a North Carolina-based company.

BOA Nutrition has tapped into the most historic rivalry in college basketball in their latest NIL partnerships.

The company, which is North Carolina based, announced the launch of the first brand marketing campaign to feature active players from both the UNC basketball program and Duke, as Armando Bacot and Jeremy Roach have teamed up with the fast-growing sports performance supplement company.

Bacot and Roach will be featured in creative content promoting the sports energy aerosol BOA Ignite, the brand’s newest introduction. As part of the agreement, both student-athletes will become shareholders within the company.

BOA Ignite is an energy supplement that is designed to fuel optimal output in training and competition. With just a two-second spray, athletes can quickly obtain energy-enhancing nutrients that can be micro-dose as needed, as the product delivers B vitamins, caffeine, electrolytes, and both fast-acting and slow-acting carbs.

In the company’s official press release, CEO Jon Pritchett discussed the company’s latest partnership with two of the stars currently involved in the North Carolina-Duke rivalry:

"“Armando and Jeremy represent the very best in their sport and we’re excited that BOA products are helping them fully optimize their performances on and off the court. They are both smart, business-minded individuals and we couldn’t be more pleased that they not only endorse our products, but as shareholders they also see the growth potential that lies aheadfor BOA. In addition to being exceptional people and world-class athletes, their visibility as part of thelegendary Duke-Carolina rivalry provides a platform unlike any other in sports.”"

Bacot also released a comment on his latest NIL deal, referencing both his work on and off the basketball court:

"“As a business student studying entrepreneurship, I was excited by the opportunity to work with BOA Nutrition. In business and in basketball, I like having every competitive advantage I can get, and BOA is the complete package.”"
