UNC Football captures ACC Coastal Division Title

For just the second time in program history, the UNC football team secured the ACC Coastal Division Title.

The Tar Heels got off to a very hot start to the 2022 season, winning nine of their first 10 contests. They secured the division title with a hard-fought 36-34 victory over Wake Forest.

Even though the season didn’t finish as the program hoped it would, winning the Coastal Division is a great accomplishment. With the format of the conference’s divisions being changed next season, the Tar Heels will go down as the final ACC Coastal Division champions.

One of the major reasons this accomplishment happened was the breakout season of a player with already a household name in Chapel Hill.
