Leaky Black

Let’s not forget: Thanksgiving is a time to give thanks.

In my opinion, fans of the UNC basketball program should be very thankful for Leaky Black.

This young man did not have the smoothest path to this point, as he received a ton of scrutiny on social media. However, instead of transferring or exploring other opportunities (as most people in his situation would), Black did not give in. Instead, he showed his love for the program by putting in the necessary work, as he’s now a vital part of the team’s success.

I’d love to talk to Leaky about his time as a Tar Heel (and of course, ask him about his new acting opportunities in commercials!), but I would also like to have the opportunity to thank him for his hard work and dedication to the program. His work hasn’t gone unnoticed, as he continues to prove all the naysayers wrong.

Of course, Leaky’s invite comes with one for his mother, Carla, who is one of the biggest supporters of the UNC basketball program!

Well, that was tough, but I think I came up with a pretty good list here. Next year I’ll figure out a new group of current Tar Heels to invite, but for now, let’s enjoy some turkey!
