As we prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving, site expert Nick Delahanty has some North Carolina Tar Heels that he’d like to invite to this year’s dinner.

Ah, the holiday season is here!

To me, this is a great time of year, as we have a chance to celebrate and spend time with our loved ones. You really can’t beat a Thanksgiving day that features not only delicious food but both the UNC men’s and women’s basketball in action at the Phil Knight Invitational!

If you follow us on social media (if not, what are you waiting for?!) we asked a pretty tough question:

In this case, there are so many possibilities and simply no right answer! I could think of dozens of current and former Tar Heels that I’d love to sit down and have a conversation with, and I’m sure you all can too.

Of course, I had to make this a bit more challenging for myself, as I decided to come up with my list of four current North Carolina Tar Heels to join me for this year’s Thanksgiving dinner.

This was definitely tough, but here’s the group that earned the invite to join this year’s festivities.
