Just hours away from the start of the UNC basketball season, the program released a special hype video to get everyone even more excited for tip-off.

On the opening night of the 2021-2022 season, Hubert Davis narrated a hype video to kick off his first season as the UNC basketball program’s head coach.

This year is definitely different, as the Tar Heels come in ranked as the No. 1 team in the country. Expectations are high, as this year’s group looks to avenge a heartbreaking loss to Kansas in last season’s national championship game.

For this year’s season trailer, the UNC basketball program has turned to star big man Armando Bacot to handle the narration.

We warn you now: this video will certainly hype you up (even more so than we already are!).

Bacot takes us through the tale of last season, a year when the Tar Heels went from a team that seemed to be on the bubble of the NCAA Tournament bracket to being considered one of the best teams in the country. It was a magical run in March Madness that will always be remembered in UNC basketball history.

The chapter is officially closed on that story, as the Tar Heels look to write another amazing chapter during the 2022-2023 season. As Bacot mentioned in the video, the UNC basketball program is ready to put in the necessary work in order to be the last team standing on the final Monday of the season.

We just have one question: are you ready for some Carolina Basketball?!
