Isaac Schade’s Three Guard Look
Staff writer Isaac Schade provided this lineup for us, as he would like to see a set in which the Tar Heels utilize three true guards:
RJ Davis
Caleb Love
Seth Trimble
Pete Nance/Puff Johnson
Armando Bacot
We’ve seen how Davis and Love operate together on the floor, but what would it look like if Trimble gets added to that mix? In this scenario, you would think that each would have their opportunity to run the point, as they could not only create opportunities for themselves but also facilitate for others as well.
With three ball handlers on the court, this lineup most likely features the two true bigs (Bacot and Nance) or includes Puff Johnson as a stretch four. You could also consider putting Leaky Black in this mix if you’re looking to play a smaller lineup.
