More information came out on Tuesday regarding the UNC basketball program’s upcoming ACC/Big Ten Challenge matchup with Indiana.

The UNC basketball program returned to the court on Monday, as they began preparation for the quickly approaching 2022-2023 season. As we inch closer to opening night, we continue to receive some updates regarding the Tar Heels’ schedule.

On Tuesday, the tip-off times and television schedules were announced for the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. We already knew the Tar Heels would match up with Indiana, but now we are aware of all the specific information regarding the battle in Bloomington.

The Tar Heels and Hoosiers will square off on Wednesday, November 30 at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. Tip-off is scheduled for 9:15 PM EST, while the game will be televised live directly on ESPN.

North Carolina and Indiana will battle on the basketball court for the first time in six years. The Hoosiers got the better of the Tar Heels in their last matchup on November 30, 2016, as they defended their home court with a 76-67 victory.

This has the makings to be a very good early season test for the Tar Heels, a team that we all know has national title aspirations heading into the 2022-2023 campaign. Hubert Davis and his team will look to take care of the Hoosiers before they kick off conference play a few days later on December 4.
