Ian Jackson, the No. 1 rated player in the Class of 2024 is set to make an official visit to the UNC basketball program this fall.

Hubert Davis and the UNC basketball program have been prioritizing the Class of 2024 as of late. As news continues to roll in regarding this talented class, news broke that the top-rated prospect of the group is scheduled to visit Chapel Hill this fall.

As first reported by Adam Zagoria of Zags Blog, Ian Jackson will be visiting North Carolina on November 11. The five-star shooting guard will be on hand as the Tar Heels host the College of Charleston in their second home contest of the 2022-2023 regular season.

Last week, Davis and assistant coach Jeff Lebo made a trip to the Bronx to see Jackson participate in an open gym. After making an effort to see the Cardinal Hayes standout in his hometown, the No. 1 rated player in the Class of 2024 will now travel to Chapel Hill to get a closer look at the program and the university as a whole.

With fellow Class of 2024 standouts Elliot Cadeau and Boogie Fland scheduled to visit North Carolina, Davis, and his staff have done a great job of gaining interest from some of the top high school prospects available. We’ll have to wait and see if they can close the deal by showing them that Chapel Hill is the right place for them to continue their basketball careers.
