After recently picking up an offer from the UNC basketball recruiting team, five-star guard Elliot Cadeau is looking to visit Chapel Hill.

The UNC basketball recruiting team has recently extended a scholarship offer to five-star Class of 2024 guard Elliot Cadeau.

Just a few days after receiving the offer, the No. 1 rated point guard in his class, according to 247Sports Composite, discussed his current recruitment with Jamie Shaw of On3.

At the moment, Cadeau is starting to set up official visits and aims to visit Chapel Hill during his recruitment tour.

"“I set my first official up with Texas Tech on September 24. I want to get down and see UNC too.”"

In his interview with Shaw, Cadeau discussed some of the teams in the mix, including Texas Tech, a “dream school” for the Link Academy standout when he was growing up.

However, he went on to add that he wouldn’t consider them a favorite at this point and also mentioned how the likes of Baylor, Kentucky, and Tennessee have also been recently recruiting him hard.

As for the Tar Heels, Cadeau had some good things to say about the program.

"“I was recently offered by UNC, and I definitely want to go down there and take an official visit. Coach (Hubert) Davis has been watching me. They are a winning program. I like to be on teams that win.”"

As he still considers his recruitment “wide open,” Cadeau is looking into every potential option, including the possibility of reclassifying. For the UNC basketball recruiting team, it’s a good sign to see that Cadeau wants to visit the campus, as the program certainly offers the five-star standout what he’s looking for in a potential college match.
