UNC basketball standout Caleb Love has partnered with Formula Zero, an elite basketball community that’s led by NBA star Damian Lillard.

Character, work ethic, and accountability.

Three words that are used to define Formula Zero, but are traits that UNC basketball star Caleb Love possesses as well.

In his latest endeavor, the St. Louis, Missouri native has teamed up with Formula Zero, a basketball community run by NBA superstar Damian Lillard.

If you’re wondering what Formula Zero is, here’s a breakdown, courtesy of the community’s official website:

"Formula Zero is a community of elite basketball players led by Damian Lillard and Phil Beckner. This community is not for everyone. It exists only for those that have an obsessive and relentless passion to do things differently. This Formula is not fake or superficial. It impacts real change and has molded one of the best players on the planet. We care about you and want to tell you the truths that will help you succeed. If you are fortunate enough to be invited just know; we want nothing from you, but everything for you."

Essentially, this is a limited community of elite basketball players, both at the high school and college levels. Players were selected based on the characteristics that define them, as they’ll come together from August 3-7 to get some exclusive work on the court.

Heading into his junior season, Love is among the 40 total players that have been tabbed for this event. The Tar Heels guard will be a “college counselor,” as he is the ideal fit for what Lillard and Formula Zero are looking for in a respective athlete.

It’s a big year ahead for Love and the UNC basketball program, as they look for some redemption after the way last season ended. Even though the expectations are very high, it’s safe to say that Love and the Tar Heels will be more than ready for the challenge.

Next. Nate Britt to join Stanford coaching staff. dark
