The ACC announced the list of attendees for next week’s ACC Football Kickoff. Which UNC football players will be representing the Tar Heels?

Next week, the ACC will host its annual Football Kickoff event.

At this event, representatives from all 14 programs come together at The Westin Charlotte in Charlotte, North Carolina. The event is essentially a two-day media session in which players and coaches are available to answer questions about their teams heading into the 2022 regular season.

For the second consecutive year, each of the league’s 14 teams will bring three players to the annual media event. Here’s who will be representing the UNC Football program at this year’s event:

Head Coach Mack Brown
Running Back British Brooks
Wide Receiver Josh Downs
Defensive Tackle Ray Vohasek

It’s no surprise that Downs is one of the Tar Heels’ three representatives, as he’s coming off a tremendous sophomore season and is expected to follow it up with another strong performance in 2022.

After breaking onto the scene towards the end of last season, Brooks has a very good opportunity to make an even bigger impact in the Tar Heels’ backfield this season, while Vohasek figures to be one of the leaders on Gene Chizik’s defensive unit.

Needless to say, all three players are expected to have a major impact for the Tar Heels this season, and will be asked an assortment of questions regarding a variety of topics that relate to the UNC football program.

The ACC Network will broadcast live from the ACC Football Kickoff event, which will take place on July 20-21. Fans will have the opportunity to watch two full days of expansive coverage, beginning at 9 a.m. each day. Tar Heels fans will be able to hear what Mack Brown and the trio of student-athletes have to say as kickoff quickly approaches.
