UNC football lands 2023 three-star Robert Grigsby

The UNC football program continues to haul in 2023 talent, as Robert Grigsby becomes the latest student-athlete to commit to the Tar Heels. 

Just a few hours ago, the UNC football program earned a commitment from Jaybron Harvey.

Shortly after, the Tar Heels landed another talented prospect to their ever-changing 2023 recruiting class.

Robert Grigsby is the latest prospect to announce his commitment to North Carolina, as he did so via the above post on his social media accounts. The three-star offensive lineman from Kennesaw, Georgia is ranked by 247Sports Composite as the No. 43 ranked offensive lineman and No. 55 overall player coming out of his home state.

During his junior season, Grigsby was an All-Region selection, as he helped guide his North Cobb team to a 10-2 season, playing in Georgia’s second-highest classification. The program earned its first-ever back-to-back regional title in school history. Grigsby has seen the majority of his playing time at right tackle, a position he may end up playing in Chapel Hill.

Grigsby was another one of the 17 student-athletes that took part in North Carolina’s huge official weekend. Since that visit, a handful of the players have decided that Chapel Hill is the right place for them, as Grigsby becomes the latest to follow that trend.

With Grigsby’s commitment, 247Sports ranks the UNC football program’s 2023 recruiting class No. 31 overall in the country. As the program may end up adding at least another commitment before the day ends, it’s possible that they will be moving up even more in the near future.
