Country music superstar Luke Combs continues to represent his beloved UNC basketball program as he discusses his new studio album.

In case you didn’t already know, country music superstar Luke Combs is a HUGE UNC basketball fan.

The Huntersville, North Carolina native has remained true to his roots, even after his music career quickly turned him into a big-time star. His third studio album, “Growin’ Up” was released on June 24, as it’s expected that this album will be as successful as the first two that he’s put out over the years.

Combs recently chatted with Zane Lowe not only about the album, but some of his inspirations as well.

You may be wondering: what does Luke Combs’ studio album have to do with anything UNC basketball-related?!

Well, it’s not what Combs talks about in the interview, but rather what he’s wearing during it!

If you watch the video and focus on Combs’ t-shirt, you’ll see that he’s wearing a t-shirt (from Barstool Sports) that references North Carolina’s victories in Coach Mike Krzyzewski’s farewell tour.

The shirt, which features Tar Heel mascot Rameses holding a shovel, shows a dug-out hole with a grave, which shows the final scores from both the regular-season finale and Final Four contests, both of which ended in North Carolina victories.

In case you were curious, Barstool identifies this shirt as their “Funeral Tee.”

It’s safe to say that Combs will never shy away from his UNC basketball fandom, as he makes it clear that he bleeds Carolina blue.
