UNC Football lands in Top 10 for four-star defensive end
The UNC football program is still in the mix for one of the top defensive lineman prospects in the Class of 2024, as he announced his Top 10 finalists.
Kavion Henderson is regarded as one of the top prospects coming out of the state of Alabama.
The four-star defensive lineman is rated as the No. 5 overall player in the state, as well as the No. 13 rated player at his position in the Class of 2024, according to 247Sports Composite’s latest rankings.
As his recruitment starts to heat up, Henderson has released a list of his top 10 finalists, one that does include the UNC football program.

In a very creative Uno-themed edit, the Leeds, Alabama native announced the schools that are still in the mix in his recruitment. Mack Brown and the Tar Heels are joined by Oklahoma, Miami, LSU, Arkansas, Georgia, Auburn, Texas A&M, Michigan, and Cincinnati as the finalists.
Two Crystal Ball predictions were placed a few months ago, neither of which pointed in the Tar Heels’ favor. However, a lot could still change leading up to his final decision, as it’s simply promising that they are still in the mix for this talented student-athlete.

North Carolina has been rather successful on the recruiting trail as of late, as they’ve hauled in a few commitments over the last week. The goal is for that success to continue, as they hope that Henderson will be the next talented prospect to call Chapel Hill his future home.
