If you weren’t already excited for Seth Trimble to join the UNC basketball program, wait until you see this impressive dunk he threw down.

Seth Trimble has arrived in Chapel Hill, and he’s quickly adding to the anticipation of his debut with the UNC basketball program this winter.

Trimble, the No. 1 player from the state of Wisconsin (according to 247 Sports Composite) has been known as a very athletic guard. The brother of former Tar Heel JP Tokoto, Trimble showcased that athleticism recently as he competed for Team USA in the 2022 FIBA U18 Americas Championship.

Now that he’s on campus, Trimble is giving Tar Heels fans a glimpse of what to expect once he officially takes the floor.

Courtesy of fellow Tar Heel Will Shaver’s Instagram story, Trimble threw down this impressive dunk. As seen in the video above, Trimble, who is listed at 6-foot-3, jumps over the 6-foot-10 Shaver to throw it down.

Yes, Shaver’s head is down, and Trimble does get a little push off his back. Regardless, it’s impressive to see the vertical that the freshman guard possesses, as it’s evident that his athleticism is going to help him as he transitions to the college game.

Seeing Trimble’s hops on display, one could only hope that we’ll see a lot of dunks come game day! Who knows: maybe the Tar Heels will have a small dunk contest at some point!

We’re certain that UNC basketball fans would love to see the likes of Caleb Love and Dontrez Styles compete against Trimble in this type of event!

Given the athleticism of this year’s Tar Heels squad, we’re sure that this group will put together some highlight-reel plays during the 2022-2023 season.
