UNC Basketball: Armando Bacot sends message to recruits

After Pete Nance announced his commitment to the UNC basketball program, standout Armando Bacot sent out an eye-popping message to potential UNC recruits.

On Saturday, the UNC basketball program received some great news, as Northwestern transfer Pete Nance announced that he’ll spend his final collegiate season in Chapel Hill.

Of course, people around the program (including the fan base) were ecstatic about the news, as Nance makes them an even stronger national championship contender heading into the 2022-2023 season.

As we know, Tar Heels standout Armando Bacot has gone above and beyond to help recruit some top-flight players to Chapel Hill. In fact, his recruiting hasn’t been limited to just basketball, as he’s willing to lend a hand to other programs as well to show the potential recruits why North Carolina is different than other universities.

Shortly after Nance made his commitment official, Bacot took to Twitter to send a rather eye-popping tweet out to potential North Carolina recruits.

Bacot simply advised potential recruits to not come to campus if they don’t intend on committing to their respective sports program.

Why? Because Bacot firmly believes that if they visit, their whole perception will drastically change.

North Carolina’s standout big man knows how special the Carolina family is, and has been around long enough throughout his college experience to be an advocate for other players who may have an interest in heading to Chapel Hill. He’s very confident in saying that if recruits get their foot on campus, they’ll ultimately decide that North Carolina is the place for them.

Let’s remember: it’s not just a four-year decision, it’s a forty-year decision.

Just ask Bacot how attending North Carolina has impacted his life. He’s the prime example of why student-athletes should strongly consider going to the university.
