UNC Basketball: Anthony Harris makes another official visit
After visiting the University of Rhode Island, what program did former UNC basketball player Anthony Harris most recently visit?
Former UNC basketball standout continues to explore his options as he looks for a new college program to call home.
After making an official visit to the University of Rhode Island, Harris has now made another official visit, this time to the University of Central Florida.
Harris confirmed the visit with his latest Instagram post, one in which showcases the former Tar Heel wearing an all-black version of UCF’s uniform in different locations throughout the campus.
The Knights, led by head coach Johnny Dawkins, are coming off a solid 18-12 campaign but did struggle a bit in conference play. As part of the American Athletic Conference, UCF finished sixth in their division with a 9-9 record.
Both programs that he’s visited already could provide him with the fresh start he needs in his basketball career. Although things didn’t pan out for him in Chapel Hill, he’s a player who can be a steady contributor if he can stay healthy and on the court.
As the days go along, we’re starting to find out more about Harris’ recruitment. We know that two teams are officially in the mix, but where will his college tour take him next?
If you’re interested in finding out where he’s heading next, make sure you follow Harris’ official Instagram account. It’s very possible that he’ll post more photos from any upcoming official visits that he decides to take.
