Are we on the verge of seeing UNC basketball standout Armando Bacot making his debut as an actor on a popular Netflix show?

Over his time in Chapel Hill, we’ve learned quite a few things about UNC basketball standout Armando Bacot.

As talented as Bacot is on the basketball court, the rising senior has plenty of other skills as well. He is a standout student in North Carolina’s Kenan–Flagler Business School, and is heavily invested in the stock market.

In an effort to help the UNC basketball program, Bacot has also taken on the role of social media recruiter, as he hasn’t been shy to reach out to some of the Tar Heels’ top targets.

We could go on for days about the many talents of Armando Bacot, but are we on the verge of adding the role of “actor” to his already impressive resume?

On his Instagram story, Bacot posted a picture that shows him in Charleston on the set of “Outer Banks,” a popular Netflix series. Is it possible that the Richmond, Virginia native will make a guest appearance on the upcoming third season of the show?

Tar Heels fans who watch the show would love to see Bacot make a cameo appearance. In fact, it may even make people who don’t watch the show tune in to see if he is shown on screen at any point.

Even his former teammates are taking notice of his potential acting career. Of course, as seen through his recruiting of UNC basketball targets, Bacot is not shy to try to bring others into the mix as well, including former teammate Cole Anthony.

We’ll have to wait and see if Bacot will make his acting debut on “Outer Banks,” but it would certainly be “must-watch television” if it does in fact happen.
