On The Tonight Show with host Jimmy Fallon, the puppies were called upon to predict this year’s National Champion.

The puppies have spoken!

On a recent episode of The Tonight Show, starring Jimmy Fallon on NBC, a special segment was put together to focus on this weekend’s Final Four.

In an attempt to predict the NCAA Tournament champion, Fallon led a “Puppy Predictors” segment where each Final Four team was represented by two puppies. The goal was for the puppies to find the dog food at the end of the trail, and the winner was determined by the first puppy to eat what was waiting for them in the bowl.

It was a very close race, but the UNC basketball program edged out the victory!

The Tar Heels puppy came out on top, as they are The Tonight Show’s “Puppy Predictor” pick to win the NCAA Tournament.

You know, how could one even question such an adorable puppy!

Of course, this comical race has nothing to do with the actual games that will be played this weekend. However, we’ll never go against anyone (or anything) that puts out some predictions that go in Tar Heels’ favor!

North Carolina’s Final Four battle with Duke is approaching, as the two teams will square off on Saturday night in New Orleans. Hopefully, the puppy’s prediction is a sign of good things to come for the UNC basketball program.
