Tomon Fox
Before he officially wrapped up his UNC football career, Fox had to cement himself on one of the Tar Heels all-time records list.
On a third-down play in the second quarter, Fox sacked Zeb Noland to force a South Carolina punt. In case you missed it, here’s a look at the play.
That play increased Fox’s career sack total to 29.5. That numbers puts him third all-time in UNC football history.

Fox wasn’t far at all from moving up the list even more. He finishes his career in Chapel Hill just one sack behind Julius Peppers and three behind Greg Ellis for the program record.

Greg Ellis program record of 32.5, Julius Peppers behind that at 30.5
Throughout his time in Chapel Hill, Tomon Fox was certainly an impactful player for the Tar Heels defense. His presence will be missed, as he’ll be one tough player to replace moving forward.
