Find out which UNC football players earned helmet sticker honors for the Tar Heels bowl game against South Carolina.

It was a disappointing end to a very disappointing season for the UNC football program.

Once again, the Tar Heels fell behind early, a repeating issue throughout the season, en route to a 38-21 loss to South Carolina in the Duke’s Mayo Bowl. With the loss, Mack Brown’s team finishes the 2021 campaign with an underwhelming 6-7 record.

The Gamecocks controlled the game on offense, as they simply had their way against the Tar Heels defense. On the ground, South Carolina ran for 301 yards and recorded 543 total yards of offense, 210 more yards than North Carolina had in the contest.

Although the Tar Heels defense wasn’t consistent by any means this season, the Keeping It Heel team is as consistent and reliable as it gets! We can sit here and harbor on the negatives from this one (and of course, there were plenty to discuss!), however, we have some final helmet stickers to hand out before we wrap up the 2021 season.

One of the themes you’ll see with this week’s helmet stickers deals with players who set some career marks against South Carolina. Let’s get the ball rolling with the dynamic playmaker who had one heck of a season for the UNC football program.
